  Woolianna on the Daly exceeded my expectations of a fishing spot. Beautifully maintained tropical gardens. Generous staff, the other guests were wonderfully welcoming and friendly.
  We stayed in the Fisherman's lodge. It was clean and had the basic requirements that you need on a carefree holiday. i.e. cold fridge, BBq and friendly neighbours.
  We hired a boat, which was well maintained, easy to operate (although we do have our own boat down south) and instructions and guidance from Adrian was clear and simple to follow. We were without fishing rods or any gear. A borrowed fishing rod, some ice and an esky provided by a generous Adrian and we were out fishing. A usual hot day. The basics of sunscreen hats, ad plenty of water can never be underestimated. We managed to catch a lovely barramundi that we had for dinner. Our trip tot he Daly complete. A 100% catch rate, one day borrowed gear and one fish!!!
  It is well worth the easy drive to Woolianna on the Daly to enjoy a real taste of outback hospitality in a very tranquil setting.
  A highlight of our time in the Territory.
  I arrived with a feeling of absolute terror about the local wildlife.
  We stayed in the Over the four days that we were there with coaching from fellow guests and the host Adrian, this changed to be a healthy respect.

  Awesome place such a nice relaxing area with some great fishing.
  Adrian is a top bloke and was willing to help us out with anything we needed and gave us plenty of tips which helped us get onto many Barramundi. Will definitely be coming back

  This is the only place to stay on the Daly River. There are others but this is the best! Adrian and Georgie make this such a special place and Adrian has so much knowledge about fishing the river. Such a great experience. Keep travelling down Woolliana Rd..if you reach the boat ramp you have passed it.

  Stayed for a week recently with my wife and kids, green grass everywhere. Park was really nice. Caught a couple of ripper Barra. Our guide, Adrian from Woolianna was great. Very hospitable. And did I mention the Fishing was awesome! Cant wait to get back up there again

  Honestly, you will have a fantastic time at Woolianna. It's beautiful, you have a pool, games room, ladies game mornings, friendly, and great fishing for Barra. We have been going there since 1994

  An excellent place for fishing and resting up. Magnificent camping/caravan sites, fully grassed sites with plenty of shade. Wonderful salt-water swimming pool to chill out or catch up on your reading. Your own boat ramp and pontoons for mooring. Saves that tedious launching every day. A mecca for the fisherman in the family. Friendly afternoon drinks at 5 o'clock around the pool area.Highly recommend a stay at Woolianna.
